"You're only as tall as your heart will let you be, and you're only as small as the world will make you seem. When the going gets rough and you feel like you will fall, just look on the bright side: you're roughly six feet tall." ~Never Shout Never, On the Brightside
Haha I know, right? For me, it's my residents. I have one that if I don't get around to doing something or fixing something around the house within 2 min after she tells me in a panic (it's usually something mundane and not life threatening) she goes into a tailspin and refuses to talk to me for at least 6 hours. Oh the joy of group homes.
This is my boss and my CFO (who ruined the company by pigheadedly opening a suburban DC branch before we had the money). "OMG is it done yet?" "Um, no, Boss, you gave it to me an hour ago." (What I feel like saying is "Have a Xanax!" but I wouldn't dare! HAHAHAHA.)
I see winney on the comments. Hi winney! Also Rachel, your profile pic is super-cute. It reminds me as well that I need more dangly earrings. A woman can NEVER have enough shiny, dangly things. : D
Hahaha thanks Gemma! I so rarely wear earrings and this picture is just a reminder to put them on more often. They make me feel girly and fun! :)
I was going to say, the difference here is that your boss probably doesn't have a developmental disability, which makes me very thankful sometimes that I work where I work. I don't think I can handle that kind of craziness from a "normal" person. Haha.
And winney and I have been following each others' blogs/tweets for years now. LOL. Welcome to the club!
Unfortunately, there are a lot of "strong personalities" in tech, which often comes out as craziness. On a happier note, it's very cool that you guys are blogging and Tweeting I have to say...I need to do more of both. I have been pretty busy lately, but I so often forget about updating my social stuff when I have downtime. Or I think of a topic and then it's intimidating to get started. Sigh!
Yeah, I like blogging but lately have been having trouble coming up with topics, so I've been resorting to posting pictures from pinterest (so easy for us non-techies to re-post and have it look good!) but that's not ever as satisfying as actually writing something, so there's my goal for September. WRITE EVERY DAY!

I saw that. I have a couple of crazy people I work with that I want to leave this on their desk. (Crazy in a good way that is).
